BREAK THE FRANCO: REPEAL OF THE AMNESTY LAW AND THE LAW OF PARTIES
No break, no democracy
It has taken 74 years to begin to reclaim investigation of crimes against humanity committed by the dictatorship. The fact that so much time has elapsed is that in 2010 has not been a break with the economic and political order emerged from the fascist military coup occurred on July 18, 1936 that aimed to overthrow the republic emerged II mainly from the polls and even physically-kill "organization workers' and popular in those years grew and progressed in the struggle to achieve profound social changes.

The nearly forty years of dictatorship, repression continued where mass executions were the order of the day and torture and forced labor sentences with which many companies still exist amassed their fortunes.
A dictator's death, far from being a break with the regime was agreed a "transition" that it was not a huge cosmetic surgery so that everything remained in place. The consequences were staying with the whole state structure of the Franco regime: a restoration of the Bourbon monarchy imposed directly by Franco in the figure of Juan Carlos I, the same judges, the same police and military who tortured and killed, the same bankers and big business who benefited economically from the Franco regime. For the working class represented a second defeat by the capitulation of the leaders of leftist organizations and popular with its policy of "reconciliation" were the lace-Franco resistance movement and with it the aspirations of democratic change and thus breaking with the regime . It seems to have forgotten that they were part of that operation and swallowed many other things with the amnesty law that left unpunished crimes and criminals untouchable.
We do not support Garzón
Many "progressives" who once caved in, took the enemy and left in the lurch for thousands of fighters now wanted to convert the wishes of thousands of relatives of victims of Franco and organizations for historical memory in a mere "support Garzón" for having been sued by fellow judiciary by trying to launch a investigation into crimes committed under Franco. We believe that this is only a diversionary attempt by government on current economic situation and the attempt to control a movement that far surpasses the aspirations of the judge. While the current regime is a continuation of dictatorship Garzón understand that part of the state network created for political repression, so much so that the National Court judge who is a special court is a direct heir of Court Order Franco public where he has issued warrants for arrest of dozens of militant communists, anarchists and independence, has ordered the closure of newspapers and the banning of political parties has ignored evidence of torture on their wheels for comment. The judge applied with an iron hand the Terrorism Act 1987 under which the government of Felipe Gonzalez decided to legalize the illegal practices committed previously by the GAL and Aznar's party law by which rights are repressed political dissent of any nuisance to the regime. From Red Power appreciates the efforts undertaken by the organizations of memory, is essential for the working class history to remember and take up the struggle that sought to eliminate the collective heritage killing his actors to continue.
