As every year, Vicalvaro prepares for a new edition of Vikalvarrada Festival.
Everything is in place, this time will be two days of good music plenty of social and political content. The date chosen is 11 and June 12. This year the theme of the festival is the defense of public education, following recent attacks by the government of Esperanza Aguirre against it by closing night high schools in several public schools in the district of San Blas.
As every year, the commitment Vikalvarrada novice groups, giving them a chance of promotion to open a gap in the music world, sharing the stage with large and well known groups. With Iratxo for Friday and The Kluba (ex-Skalariak) for Saturday headlining, this edition is presented as one of the strongest in the festival, recovering the gap left by his predecessor, Vicalvarrock.
